Faithr Posted August 2, 2011 Share Posted August 2, 2011 (edited) I am at a time in my life when I am trying to cut back on being on the internet so much. I keep hearing about the MCT yahoo list. Is it necessary to be on that list in order to really do the MCT LA program? I'm just starting out new with the program with my rising 7th grader. I am having a little bit of trouble figuring out how to teach it, but I really don't want to join another yahoo list. You who are experienced with this, is it necessary? How do you teach MCT stuff? I'm planning on using The Magic Lens, Vol. 1, Word within a Word Vol 1, and Poetry and Humanity. Actually I was thinking of doing Poetry and Humanity before Christmas and working through Essay Voyage after Christmas. I decided the Advanced Academic Writing was a little too advanced for him. Any thoughts or advice is most appreciated! thanks! (Update! There are forums through RFWP.com and you may want to check them out at any point when you have questions. It's absolutely not necessary to be on either to use the program.
