lillysmom216
and I'm not feeling the love. In fact, I feel like I will avoid it. So, I'm sitting here with the complete set and want to ditch it. Has anyone had this first reaction and stuck with it? Should I admit defeat and go another route like Minimus? Is it acceptable for dd and I to watch the dvds at night with a glass of wine in my hand? :D
AmyinMD
We hardly ever watch the DVDs. My dd isn't that crazy about them. She does really like LFC though. She says it is her favorite subject. I mostly pull them out to make sure we're pronouncing stuff correctly.
cschnee
We like Chris. We like to see what shirt he will wear in each chapter and how much of a mess he makes of the board. Plus we LOVE the stories that come every few chapters. They are a lot of fun.
SonshineLearner
Seriously?? You think any Latin program can be watched and not be a little goofy? It's hard work! Enjoy when it's funny and light, because soon enough your brains will be used enough to give them "headaches" ;) Seriously!!
Dana
The DVD doesn't take long to watch. We only watch on the first day. I'll often pause during the "lecture" part and make notes in my book (my son and I both have our own textbook and activity book and we take tests together). I'm very pleased with the program. I find the end clips really cheesy but my son adores them & we rewatch them when he asks.
