mommyoftwinboys
I have been having this feeling/calling for about a year that I need to give some of my time to help with children that have cancer. I don't know why because I personally haven't been affected by cancer in my family(thankfully)..but it just keeps coming up and I know it must be God calling me to serve this way. I just don't know where to start or what to do. I do know how to knit so maybe chemo caps? I'd be happy to serve in the hospital too but I have a newborn but I'm open to ideas. Do the cancer hospitals have like Ronald McDonald type homes for families that I could prepare meals? Should I just donate money?

Chelle in MO
Can you sew? Make some pillowcases for ConKerr Cancer: http://conkerrcancer.org/ My hs group is just now getting involved w/this organization. I can't wait to see the finished pillowcases! Unfortunately, I can only buy fabric--I can't sew a stitch!
heartosunshine
Here's an organization I love: http://www.projectlinus.org/ You can also make "No Sew Fleece Blankets"! Even the kids can help!
