S/O Monotheists- who or what is God to you?

I'm going to make a poll. It will be a long one and may take some time, so please be patient with me. :D

 

The question is not about what your church teaches about the nature of God, but what you personally believe. I'm going to try to make the poll so that you can pick more than one option. Some of the options may seem similar but use different words.

 

I don't think I will have room for an "other" choice. So if you wish, you are free to explain any choice or non-choice that you make.

 

My intention is a respectful curiosity. I myself am a monotheist. :001_smile:

You've got lots of good Tillichian choices, but you left out my favorite, "the ground of being." I think that, or "s/he within which we live and move and have our being" is probably the closest to how I'd define God, although I don't think either is a perfect, exact, or full definition.
