There is not the slightest hint that he did not speak his first words till right before his 4th birthday. :001_smile: He is 11 and I am hoping to get him in braces in the next year or two. I'm not that concerned about the braces creating a speech delay (just the tiniest bit concerned) but my concern is about the retainer. My daughter just got her retainer today and for the first hour her speech was impaired. :confused: Its been several hours and it is now about 85% normal.
