dajiherndez Posted June 19, 2011 Share Posted June 19, 2011 I was wondering if any one has experience with bilinguel children who show dylexia signs. I have a child that is 10. Her first language was Spanish. She bagan speaking English when she was around 6 and became fluent at around 7. When we began school she was taught to read in her first language first. Then we started English. I began to notice reversals and things a couple years after instuction started in both languages. The trouble is worse in English then in Spanish.
