Is there a way to send an e-mail that includes a PDF, but instead of (or in addition to) having it as an attachment, make it appear on the screen when they open the e-mail?

We are missionaries and send our quarterly prayer letter by e-mail, but I know a lot of people are less likely to open an attachment than to read something that is embedded in the message.

Oh, I usually use Outlook for sending, but am open to other options if there is something that would work better.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Beth

Use Insert v. Attach. :)

This is how you add a graphic to an email message too. You can convert your pdf to a jpeg (smaller email transmit size) and insert into the email. Be careful with bulk mailing, you can get labeled as spam. I think MailChimp is free bulk mail up to a certain number (in the thousands).

Thanks, I just sent myself a text message to see how it works. My concern with a .jpg is that people might not be able to zoom in and read it well, so we'll see how it shows up. I generally mail in batches of 10-15 so it doesn't get caught in spam filters. I have been looking into mailchimp recently, but DH (a graphic designer) isn't thrilled with the fact that you have to use their native software rather than uploading a PDF or InDesign file.
