It's on sale today for $10 :) but I'm not familiar with it at all. Thank you!!!! Alphabetika Posted May 23, 2011 Share Posted May 23, 2011 I am Protestant so I can't say whether the series was consistent with Cathohlic teachings, though I had the sense that the professor was Catholic. I definitely felt that he was sympathetic to a Christian perspective, if nothing else. I thought the series was excellent and the prof very enthusiastic, though he sometimes seemed a bit obsessive about Augustine's sexual sin. I learned a lot and would definitely recommend it!
