K12's "Core" level of classes - how low are they?

Recommended Posts

I know Core is below Comprehensive and, obviously, Honors. We are moving to a tiny school (17 students!) and the new school district can offer PS students select K12 high school courses. They are all offered at the Core level.

DD took Honors English and Honors Physical Science this year as a freshman at our current PS, and did very well because she's a hard worker. If a class is too easy/shallow, I'm afraid it won't really interest or engage her. Are K12's Core-level classes "average" or below-average?

(Specifically, we're looking at having her take Lit Analysis/Comp. II, World History, and Biology. I know World History is a freshman course, but she had no history in PS this year.)
