1bassoon
Calling all creative types. . . . Next week, we're having a graduation "Open House" for my eldest dd. We got the idea to incorporate her favorite books into the table centerpieces - we'll have about 4 tables with food, etc - not tables for guests to sit at, per se. Anyone have any creative, inexpensive ideas for how to turn the books - maybe with flowers or ribbons or something - into centerpieces? We'd love for the books to stand up so we can see the covers, if possible. Thanks!
thescrappyhomeschooler
You could make a "box" with 4 books standing upright and put a vase with flowers in the middle.

Ferdie
You could stack several books and then put a picture frame with her graduation photo on top of it. The dollar store sells plate stands. You could use them to hold a book open.
1bassoon
Great ideas! Especially like the books around the flower vase. . . . Keep 'em coming!
SunD
Maybe line up a few books and use two square vases or balloon weights as "bookends".
