LAS in LA
Our DS8 would like to learn wood-carving. Can anyone recommend websites or books to help get him started? TIA!
Jyniffrec
We got our son Carpentry for Boys (we got it on Kindle but I wish I had gotten the paper version). He got a set of carving knives from a knife store for his birthday and we went fishing around our tools to try and find the right ones the book recommends. Then we got him some sticks and a couple of blocks of wood. He and his dad sat down and tried their hand at it. That is the only way I have found to do it so far. There aren't any carpentry classes for children around here. I'm :bigear: myself - I want to know where we can improve on what we are doing. LAS in LA
Thanks for the tips! Would you tell me the author of Carpentry for Boys? I'm seeing two books by that name on amazon. Thank you!
Jyniffrec
This is the one that we got on Kindle. J.S. Zerbe is the author.
