gracesteacher
Is there a book list done by chapters for k/1st grade to have to read out loud. She is a fluent reader. We have been listening to the CDs for SOTW 1 and she is wanting more information. I have done a search but not finding what I am looking for Thanks Carol
sewpeaceful
2 sources: There are a handful of suggestions in TWTM. The activity guide has the best and broadest list of suggestions. She includes the authors, isbns, etc. GREAT resource and my kids enjoy the activities too. Worth every penny.
~Kirsten~
Definitely use the Activity Guide! It has descriptions for each book as well. Also, if you search on here (perhaps use the tag search, as I believe searching has been wacky of late), I know there have been threads asking for the top five or top ten books for various SotW levels. That might help, too.
redsquirrel
You want the activity guide. She has book suggestions both non-fiction and fiction for every week (chapter of SOTW) The books are often described as being appropriate for read aloud or read alone for strong readers etc. Sometimes, the books are about the specific topic in SOTW and sometimes they are from the same time period or culture. It might be a fable or myth.
