We went to the pedi and got the referral to the right clinic to the hospital, my idiot HMO modified the request and sent us an auth to the local audiologist who does not test for CAPD and to an ENT at the childrens hospital and get this, they noted that the ENT clinic is not accepting new patients right now! So the auth is kinda worthless imo. Now, am I missing something? This is the clinic we need right? Not an ENT clinic? I need to figure out how to educate these idiots and get them the right information so I can get it changed. As it is its a 3 month wait to get into the audiology clinic.
