JeneralMom Posted May 9, 2011 Share Posted May 9, 2011 We never did Mother's Day or Father's Day growing up (my Dad barely tolerated X-Mas and Easter). When I had kids, my DH wanted to mark them somehow so we do b-fast in bed for me (and the last few years we end up doing some big home improvement project) and for Father's Day they do a campout in the back yard. On Saturday he took the kids to a Lowe's Build and Grow workshop, where they made MD-themed stuff, while I de-trashed their room.
