asta
I find it apropos that Holocaust Remembrance Day fell on 1 May this year. Here is a story of a man who survived the Treblinka extermination camp, where 870,000 Jews were killed. What a day: a beatification, this, and UBL. a
Negin
I find it apropos that Holocaust Remembrance Day fell on 1 May this year. What's UBL? Is it to do with Pakistan? Thanks for sharing that today is Holocaust Remembrance Day. Rather timely that I'm currently reading Night.

Sebastian (a lady)
When we went to visit Auschwitz the family ahead of us included an older woman who was pointing to the sign and to the barracks and telling her family what it looked like when she'd lived there. I have not forgotten.
NanceXToo
As a Jew who was born on May 1st, and born and raised in New York, I appreciate that there's a Holocaust Remembrance Day- -and that bin Laden finally got what was coming to him.
