Janie
A bunch are out there, so without ordering several to preview, I thought I'd ask you all. I need to turn in my booklist for next year soon. This will be for student use in a traditional classroom, so I'm not looking for expensive, just accurate and clearly printed / visible. Thanks! beachnut
The atlases my boys (ages 10 & 14) use most is the National Geographic World Atlas for Young Explorers and the National Geographic United States Atlas for Young Explorers. They've got enough details without being overwhelming, and the maps and photos are great. I got them both fairly cheap on Amazon. The U.S. atlas has an interactive/web component that links with the book, too.
