Is there a curriculum fair there anytime soon? She wants to be able to look at what is available. She lives in Newnan. Also, what co-ops are available in that area? Thanks in advance for your help! There is also a big convention in Marietta in late July, so she'll have time to think about what she wants to look at and not feel rushed to decide. That's the reason I like it. The only other one is the one mentioned by a pp at the end of July at the Galleria. If you go to homeschoolclassifieds.com, they have lots of groups and co-ops listed by area. I don't know anything about Newnan. Sounds like a standard co-op where if you take a class with them then, yes, you use what they want you to. The classes appear to be optional and it looks like she could join EN just for the field trips and other group activities. Her best bet is to call one of those people listed on the front page and ask. Ask lots of questions. And if they have homeschool orientation meetings she should go to one of those.
