Magdalene Posted April 25, 2011 Share Posted April 25, 2011 Hello everyone! I've been lurking about here for the past year or so now, and I thought that I'd finally introduce myself. I've been a little hesitant to do this, as I don't have kids yet and feel a little silly even being here at this point in my life. Although my DH and I haven't had children yet (we're going to start trying this fall!), we've always known that we would homeschool any children we might be blessed to have. So, over the past year I've been researching to my heart's content...I figure I might as well get the bulk of it done before there are little ones around. After reading The Well Trained Mind, DH and I both knew that this was the kind of education we wanted to give our future children. I've spent a lot of time pouring over curriculum and reading this site, getting ideas and a feel for what is out there. I think I may be a planning/curriculum junkie already! :001_huh: As for me, I'm currently a stay at home wife, homemaker, and wanna-be writer. I'm currently working on getting my manuscript ready to send out to agents. I am also three years into my BFA...I'll finally be done next spring! Anyway, I hope you all don't think I'm too crazy for hanging about here already. I think there are some other people who started posting before kids :) It can be useful to get information in advance rather than grabbing everything last minute (boy was that a whirlwind year!).
