solascriptura
Hi, To any who have purchased the books. I see that there is a Parent's Guide, Teacher' guide and activity pages. Do I need to buy all three in order to use the material well? Thanks!
Five More Minutes
I found the Parent's Guide a wonderful introduction to the series that helped me think through an approach to teaching the Bible. That said, it is not an essential book to teaching. What IS essential is the Teacher's Guide - it contains the stories and introductions. I also think that the Activity Guide is important (almost critical!) to teaching the program. HTH
EJCMom
:iagree: The Parent's Guide is not essential, but I wouldn't just dismiss it as unimportant either. I just finished it and it gave me a really good feel for what to expect with the curriculum. It also helped to ease the little bit of anxiety I had about teaching the Bible. Plus, I didn't realize that Dr. Enns was so funny. I found myself chuckling several times. We're really excited to start Telling God's Story next year.
