Opinions on the tests for Latin for Children

I am going to purchase the Latin for Children program for next year. I saw on their site that they have a test packet available. Does anyone specifically recommend them - or not recommend them? I'm all about saving money, but also making sure that I can monitor progress. Are the worksheets conducive to easily adapting for a test or would it be more trouble than it is worth? I used Prima Latina this year and did use the tests that were included in the curriculum.

This is something new as we are almost finished with LFC B and have not had these. So sorry to not be able to advise you as to how helpful they might be. There are tests at the end of each chapter but not for each unit. That would be nice to have and I'd be willing to pay the $7.95 to have those.

I haven't used them yet (we'll start LfCA next year) but the test packet does look good. The only problem I have is that there isn't a test over the whole book at the end. :glare:

 

I hope they'll come out with other test packets for the other books. The tests from the packet looked better than the worksheets they have for free online.

We have them and use them for LfC - A. I think they are well worth the $. I like the unit study guides that outline what needs to be mastered for the unit test.

I appreciate your wisdom and input. Being the biggest cheapskate on Earth I am hesitant to spend the money on the whole mastery bundle plus the tests, but you have eased my mind. Thank you SO much!!
