kchara
Has anyone used the live online classes from the Institute of Biblical Greek? I'm thinking it might be just what I need to help me learn Greek, to help teach my kids, but $450 is a LOT of money for us, and then I think I'd still have to buy the books... If you've never used it, do you have a self-teaching or online Greek course you do recommend?

If you've never used it, do you have a self-teaching or online Greek course you do recommend? I can recommend Bill Mounce's Greek course. I have just used the books with a small class at my church, but he offers a number of class options at his website. It will be more self-study, but there are a lot of resources. http://www.teknia.com If you decide to go with a more expensive class, I would still use teknia to get the alphabet down first. There is a lot to learn and I would hate to start any Greek class cold. Also, you could work on memorizing vocabulary before you start into the class. This will also help you to concentrate on other things. Blessings,
kchara
Thank you! I've got some of the alphabet down, but I'm not digging the idea of going through The Greek Alphabet Code Cracker just to get it down pat.
