Margo out of lurking
Reading through the old threads, I know that I want "Geometry by Harold Jacobs" 2nd ed. (not 3rd). Is there a specific ISBN or alternate book title? What do I need along with the book? Any supplements or websites I should be aware of? After a dismal year of LoF algebra two years ago, this year dd has successfully completed Lial's Introductory Algebra, based on (the marvelous) Jann in TX's recommendation. We are eager to have another successful math year, and I want to be sure I start it off with everything we need. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Ruth in Canada
but I also have the set of tests. We haven't needed any supplements or websites, but both dh and I are comfortable teaching math. --Ruth Reading through the old threads, I know that I want "Geometry by Harold Jacobs" 2nd ed.
