Noeo Science for Kindy

Does anyone or has anyone used Noeo Science for a Kindergartener? Will you please share your experiences, likes and dislikes?

We used Biology I when dc were K and 1st grade. We cut back on the writing a bit and did more read alouds than independent reads, but it worked great and we all loved it.

I guess I didn't realize there was a writing component for the early levels. Hmm. Well, if it's easy to skip, then maybe that's what we'll do too. :)

It's a classical-style program and, I think, works beautifully with the WTM philosophy. Kids can complete a picture and narration for the daily reading assignments - as many or few as you see fit, of course. Look at the sample pages on the website www.noeoscience.com. I think you'll find them if you click on the teacher's guide.

 

We began afterschooling after just one year of Noeo and had to give it up, but the kids have been asking for it so I'm trying to work it in for next year. Our ps are weakest in science, so I really should be providing it at home. We're all excited to use it again.
