I just looked through the first grade Abeka phonics curriculum guide (we plan to start it next week). I think we have determined to start in lesson 31 (passed unnecessary review since we just finished K) but I cannot find where it schedules Letters and Sounds 1. Am I missing it? I see the lesson for the day and another part of the IG that has the reader schedule, but no schedule for L&S 1. Surely it is there and I am missing it? Hopefully someone can help me out! Thanks! momofabcd Posted April 15, 2011 Share Posted April 15, 2011 Letters and Sounds 1 is scheduled in the Writing and Seatwork TM. LS 1 has the lesson number on the bottom of the page, though. extrafor6 Posted April 15, 2011 Share Posted April 15, 2011 It took me several days to figure this out when we first started Abeka as we don't do the Seatwork either. Both of my girls (1st and 2nd grade) have become excellent readers and I give the strong Abeka Phonics program a lot of credit for that.
