When professionals can't agree

Just a public voice of irritation after dealing with 2 professionals today, who after looking at the same child came to opposing conclusions while insulting the intelligence of the other professional. I find that so very not helpful and unprofessional!!! :smash:   :cursing: Not to mention we are no closer to answers than we were before. :banghead:

:grouphug: I'm sorry. I know whereof you speak. Frustrating in the extreme! I hope you are able to sort something out that can be helpful.

Wow. Highly unprofessional of them to insult each other.

(I primarily posted so that I could commend you on your use of smilies to express your frustration. Nice job!)

Wow- as part of IEP teams and IDT teams all the time, I would hate for a parent (or colleague) to ever feel that I not only disagreed with another team member, but actually belittled their intelligence. Very unprofessional.

The whole point of a team is to have the different perspectives to work together to find the best solutions.

I would find new professionals. The ones you are working with simply do not have the best interest of the student in mind.
