Have you ever been to one like this?? If so, can you tell me about it or give me a link?? I want an "Academic Conference" ... is this doable?? mytwomonkeys Posted April 1, 2011 Share Posted April 1, 2011 sure, why not? i'm not sure why an academic conference would turn ugly. simply ask speakers to keep to their own key points & let them know it is going to be a diverse crowd, with diverse speakers. all walks of life will be represented. anyway, unless there is something controversial you're hoping to have each speaker address, i can't imagine why it wouldn't run smoothly.
