razorbackmama
http://www.supportingdyslexia.com I got the activities to go with Books 3 & 4, and I tell ya, I wish I would have just bought them all at once! We used just one activity today, with Story #1 in Book 3, and I'm already impressed. It was a simple "tell the main idea" thing, but it required the student to tell WHY that was the main idea. My dd (who comprehends pretty decently!) really had a hard time! To be honest, I probably would have answered the same way as my dd! But the way they explained it really made sense as to why it was NOT the way my dd and I saw it. So I think this is really going to be good. I CAN. NOT. WAIT. until my 8th grader gets to this point. He is the one who REALLY REALLY REALLY struggles with comprehension, and I think these activities will REALLY help. HIGHLY recommended if you are using Barton!
