Faithr
What's the best cursive handwriting program for an older student (8th grade)? Thanks for any opinions!
ELaurie
previously learned cursive, or would this be his / her introduction to cursive?
Brindee
There are a lot of different styles, so it depends on whether your child (or you) what one of the regular handwriting styles, or Italic, or Calligraphy style. My dd uses Getty-Dubay which is Italic, and loves it! It suits her style much better than the others would! My boys used A Reason For Handwriting, and did well with that. There are places you can find handwriting sheets for free on-line, even making your own. I don't have the links to any of those though. Once you narrow down which kind you're looking for, it'll be easy, or easier, to find what would probably work the best! Ask your 8th grader what style he/she is interested in. You could research it with them on-line! :)
