2boysmom
Anyone out there whose kid had this class? I'm considering it for my son as a 9th grade geography course, but I wonder if it will be enough. Can anyone tell me their experience? LynnG in Arizona
My daughter took Mrs. Runkle's TPS geography class when she was in 9th grade and absolutely loved it. I thought it would be a wonderful opportunity to take the class from the author of the textbook, and I was right. :) I must admit that I was in a fog that year, with two babies under 2. I had to outsource my two older daughters' educations that year quite a bit, so I can't give you many details on the course content. I do know that my daughter loved the class and loved Mrs. Runkle. HTH.
JumpedIntoTheDeepEndFirst
Do keep in mind that Runkle Geography is primarily physical geography not human geography.

Yes, I gave her 1-credit (full year) on her high school transcript.
