If your children are finishing R&S Phonics in 2nd grade and you plan to start Megawords in 4th grade, what do you use for spelling in 3rd grade? R&S spelling is very easy for my dc so do I just throw something else in there for a year or two like SWO? Should I only have them do grammar, writing, and reading for LA in 3rd and then p/u Megawords in 4th? Should I just keep up with R&S spelling until 4th (although it seems like busy work)?
