Rebecca in GA
Right outside my window are DD, our neighbor girl and some of her friends (all in the 8-10 yo range). This is what I'm hearing: "Ice cream, ice cream, cherry on top How many boyfriends DO YOU GOT? 1...2...3...4..." Just wrong. :glare: Back to your regularly scheduled programming. beansprouts
It's how many boyfriends HAVE you got! Get it right!! And why does an 8 year old have a boyfriend anyways??? I wish kids wouldn't play these kinds of games, really. My 4 year old son positively adored my dd's 9 year old best friend. They tease him about wanting to marry her, etc., and it bugs me because he wouldn't even think that way. He likes her because she is sweet and fun to play with, He is a very sensitive, affectionate and loving little guy and I hope that never changes. Rebecca in GA
I don't know what bugs me most, the poor grammar or the boyfriends. :001_huh: ETA: They just changed it to "gummy bears." Guess they'd rather have those than boyfriends!:D
AndyJoy
We sang this as: Ice cream, soda pop, cherry on top. (like an old-fashioned float) Who's your boyfriend? I forgot. A...B...C... Then the other girls would decide who your "boyfriend" was based on the letter on which you stopped.
