eaglei
If you don't use sugar, or any of the other sweeteners such as stevia, etc., and you are out of honey, and it is way too cold to head out to the store for just one item --- what do you use? I remember hearing some time ago that people used to use molasses as a sweetener, but did they use it in tea [the drinking kind! ;)] and in cereal, etc.? Any suggestions?
Laurel
I use maple syrup, but not in tea (honey or agave nectar in tea). Definitely on cereal though. You could use molasses on cereal, but it does have a distinct flavor.

LostSurprise
It's a plant based sweetener. You can find it in the baking department of your grocery store (by the sugar ).

I will look next time we are at the store - maybe tomorrow - after the snow clears!
