nanette
Does anyone know of any shampoo that doesn't strip your color. I don't like going to the salon to have my hair colored and less than 2 weeks later my darker color is faded.
delaney
Something without sodium laureth sulfate. Sulfates strip. You need a natural cleaner and the salon ones are really all the same. Walgreens has one in squatty colorful bottles called Organix and CVS carries it as well. They are paraben and sulfate free. Alba is a good brand. mommyoftwinboys
Does your color have alot of red in it? The color molecules in red are larger and therefore leave the cuticle easier. There was a shampoo made by Artec when I was a stylist that helped. Your stylist would need to formulate the shampoo with your haircolor and you would use it every couple of days to brighten your color. In general, don't wash your hair for a couple of days after you leave the salon and then don't wash every day.
nanette
No red at all. I get blonde and a medium to dark brown. I don't wash for 2 days after coloring, and then I only wash my hair every other day. But my brown color still fades in about 2 weeks. awtl
I love Aubrey products. They are all natural, and their shampoo is the best I've ever used. I really love it. Here is a product of theirs that is safe for color treated hair. http://www.aubrey-organics.com/ProductInfo/094.aspx
