The US can't let everyone in who applies every year (there is, or at least used to be, a lottery system for some types of immigration), but to make it so easy for illegal aliens to live and work here is frustrating for those of us who do it legally. There is still a lottery system for people coming from certain countries..or at least there was back in 05 or 06. One of my high school friends and his family came to the US through it.
