Melissa in Australia
IN Saxon advanced math chapter 61 question 12 it asks this: the measurements are 61,58,43,30,72,68,50 63,62,58,65,60. Use a graphing calculator to find the mean and the standard deviation and to find minx, Q1, med.Q3 and max x Use this data to draw a box and whisker plot. we have a TI inspire calculator. What is the command to convert the data into Q1 and Q3 ??
Dana
I've got a TI-84. I imagine the commands would be similar. Just calculate 1-Variable Statistics. Keep scrolling down with the arrow keys to see the rest of the stats. After n, it gives min, q1, med, q3, max.
Melissa in Australia
Thank you very much for your help. That command didn't work. I think I will contact TI and see if they have a suggestion.
