Willow
Has anyone used the McGraw Hill "demystified' series of books either for yourself or for a High Schooler? e.g. Biology Demystified, Algebra Demystified. Any comments, reviews? I thought they looked great for an introduction to a topic, or for me to start catching up with the kids. ;) Willow. Alphabetika
Hi, Willow, My dd is using the Biology book right now as a small part of her biology studies. It is very light. You wouldn't want to use it as the only book a high school student reads on a topic, IMHO. But it's a good intro and mini-spine for the topic. Amy in TX
I've tried the German, Earth Science, and Astronomy Demystifieds. Hated all of them. We found the explanations to be hard to follow and the order of topics often illogical.
