If you participate in Trunk or Treats, how do you decorate your trunks?

Looking for some inspiration for this year. :D

I mentioned this elsewhere, but I'm going to make my truck a TARDIS. HOW I'm going to do this is still a question mark.

 

Last year I had a Haunted Forest theme, I cut out trees and had green lights in them that looked like eyes, put eyes on the windows of my truck, etc. Someone else dressed like the characters from UP, made their Jeep look like the house and had a big bunch of balloons up top.

When I had only one child, I would decorate the trunk to go with his costume:

 

- the year he was a monkey, the trunk was a jungle

- the year he was Buzz Lightyear, the trunk was "Andy's Room"

- the year he was a skunk, the trunk was a garden

 

Then I had more and had my hands too full with the kids to decorate a trunk and keep up with them. :tongue_smilie:

i've never seen any "trunk or treat" things, but i'm thinking that a trunk would make a dang good coffin ~ i've got visions of zombies springing up and scaring everyone out from under their hair. :D

 

 

(ummm...of course this wouldn't work for littles...which is sorta what the whole trunk/treat thing is for.... drat.)
