Veritaserum
I'd like to brush up on my Spanish. I've had seven years of high school and college level instruction. I remember the grammar rules, but my vocabulary has shrunk quite a bit. I've seen a lot of options for Spanish translations of American young adult/juvenile fiction, but I don't trust translations as much as I would trust a novel written in Spanish by a native speaker. More contemporary works are preferred as I don't expect to be discussing Don Quixote. ;) Dh and I are traveling to Argentina next year and I want to be able to speak to people (dh is fluent--he lived there for a couple years). Anybody have any suggestions? :)
