kamom
WE had a killer frost three nights ago. Yesterday, I went to clean out my flowerbed and dug up the dahlias. I simply yanked on the tops and some of the bulbs?/rizomes came out with the stalks. They ones that broke off I simply dug out and shook off. None of them had any small new growth. Now they have raw spots where the stalk broke off and I seperated them all. When my aunt gave me these last year, they had small growths on each bulb. now I don't know if each of them will produce a flower. I called my aunt she said only the ones with eyes and she said to leave them in clumps. To late. Well how do I know which have eyes? Did I ruin them by not leaving them in clumps?
