happyWImom Posted January 6, 2011 Share Posted January 6, 2011 I know this is a little old, but I was doing a search, and just saw it. We just got these, and love them. I'm not sure about a first grader, though. It's possible, but I would only have him do it if he was doing it alongside an older sibling. I read the first story, and we usually have another book or 2 on the subject that I might read to them, but my dc do the research and also read at least one book on each subject.
