Good --or great-- parenting books.......

I need some current (or some older tried-and-true but still in-print) parenting book titles to suggest to my students' parents.

 

I stand amazed at the mediocre, or even lack of, parenting these days. Besides suggesting some books, there's not much else I can do.

 

Any gotta-read titles?

Shepherding A Child's Heart by Tedd Tripp!!!!!!! I heard him speak at a homeschool conference several years ago. He was the absolute best speaker on raising children I've ever heard. I think he has more than one book out, and I know that the book I mentioned can be purchased as a study..... of course that route is more for a group, I think..... more expensive.

 

He writes about bringing up children in the training and instruction of the Lord.... This is not a book about a child's physical health.
