jentancalann Posted September 10, 2010 Share Posted September 10, 2010 I purchased and downloaded it a few weeks ago. We are on the 6th lesson, I believe. I really like it for my ds 12 who doesn't have too many spelling issues. I love I have another way to incorporate dictation, even though it is not SWB's style of dictation. My boys are 9 and 12 and they are what I guess you would call natural spellers. We are all good spellers but could not tell you "the rules". I am wondering if we should just try Spelling Wisdom or if we should use something that would go over the why things are spelled the way they are. I'm guessing the "why's" would be more important if spelling is difficult and one needs to think about how to get words on paper. I'm a natural speller too, but must admit that I am finding it interesting learning the why's as I go through All About Spelling with ds9. I don't think its necessary, though.
