Joy at Home Posted August 30, 2010 Share Posted August 30, 2010 I thought when reading through the loom documents that she suggests using an SAT prep book for vocabulary, but not sure how this meshes with the vocabulary section of TOG. Karenciavo Posted August 30, 2010 Share Posted August 30, 2010 The vocabulary in TOG is for grammar stage students to become familiar with words they will be reading in their history readings. More along the lines of shogun, pagoda, opium (yr. 3, week 19) than typical vocabulary words like abuse, access, accomplish, achievement (words from some random, 5th grade vocab list I just googled.)
