Accredited On-line courses

I am signing my Dd up for online courses this year. She wants to do online and we are needing accredited courses for her in case she ends up enrolling in public school next year after we move to NY. We plan to move in next 2-3 months but she will continue to homeschool to finish 10th grade.

 

If anyone here has any experiences with the following listed schools, please tell me what you and your student think of the courses taken.

 

We are considering:

Brigham Young University,

University of Missouri,

North Dakota Center for Distance Education.

 

The courses Dd will take online are World History, World Geography, Algebra 2 then Geometry, a 10th grade level English.

 

At home she will do Chinese (through OCW), Music Theory, Integrated Science (Teaching Company Joy of Science), Consumer Education, and P.E.

 

Thank you for your help!!!!! I so want to try to make sure the courses we sign her up are worth the money and will meet our needs.

DS took US History through the University of Missouri on-line. The class was thorough. The UM staff was helpful and prompt when we had questions. I would certainly use them again.

I have to make a decision soon-LOL. My Dd says she just wants to take the courses online and she says it doesn't matter to her where the courses are from. Of course I know it is very important. Such naivity of kids-LOL.
