kathkath Posted August 15, 2010 Share Posted August 15, 2010 I've spent the whole day writing higher-level thinking activities that go along with The Adventures of Reddy Fox, the first title used for read aloud. Rather than using it as a read aloud I'm having my daughter actually read the text and do these activities. It also can be used as a read-aloud to take discussion to the next level, or be done orally to probe thinking. It is very challenging. Depending on how this goes, I could see writing more like this.
