HappyGrace
Dd has always done well with the spiral of CLE so I'd like to find a pre-alg that is spiral too, if possible.
mom2denj
I am using CLE 8 as our Pre-Algebra. Did you use 8?
HappyGrace
Dd is a rising 5th grader-I'm looking ahead :) I'm reading some old threads right now, thinking about doing CLE through at least 7, but not sure if 7 is a complete pre-algebra course-some old threads say it is, some say it isn't. And if it is, what on earth is CLE 8 considered? I don't want to have to do 7 and 8 to have a full pre-alg course.
mom2denj
Well, this is our first experience with CLE Math. I had heard over and over that CLE 7 is a pre-pre-Algebra. CLE 8 seems to be a pretty soild Pre-Algebra course. I am very happy with it so far.:)
Maverick_Mom
Teaching Textbooks uses a spiral approach.
mom2denj
We will be using Teaching Textbooks for Algebra I. I talked in length to the consultant for TT at the Orlando Homeschool Convention and I really like this approach.
