Help me think through this Rosetta Stone question. . . .

Recommended Posts

I need some advice!

I own RS Spanish Levels 1 & 2, the old version. I have "some" of the texts, but this was before I got smart and told my children *not* to write in them to save them for their siblings. :glare:

SO. I'm not sure what to do. I think it's hard to get the texts for the older version. My ds13 is ready for Spanish 1 as a 9th grader.

Do I ask RS if they have an upgrade policy? I really can't spend the $$$ to buy the newer version, but I do have other students coming up behind him. Just use it w/o any texts? What might be a good grammar supplement?

Grr. Wish I'd had more forethought. . . . .

Thanks for any help you can offer!

I needed one of the workbooks and they sent it to me along with an upgrade. I don't remember how much the book cost but the upgrade was free. That was about 2 years ago. Perhaps they'll still do it. I would give it a try. I've called their support several times and have always been treated very well. However I had originally purchased it from the company itself and they still had a record of it. Don't know what they'd do if you bought it used.
