Yes, the book is in black-and-white AND in full color. Some of the pages are black and white. You know, I never even noticed that until now. It's a GREAT book, full of lots of great studies. We're really going to love it. It also comes with a CD in the back that you can print off maps, travel log sheets and notebooking pages. It even has printable recipes that go along with the studies. I thought for sure there was a version available with all the pics in full color-that would work a lot better for my rising 2nd grader that we're folding into it!
