Rhesa
So, my ds7 has been going through SWO B. I've recently quizzed him with spelling lists at the start of the lesson, before everything else. The last 3 lessons, he spelled every word correctly. Am I doing anything wrong if we just skip the activities? I mean, if he can already spell all the words on the list, is there any reason to make him do the other work?

ArwenA
Another vote for move on. If ds can spell the words than there isn't much point reviewing them again and again. Your time will be better spent on words he can't spell.
Mom2legomaniacs
The only things I will suggest as beneficial to do would be the ones that deal with the meanings of the words and the proof reading section. Those are short and easy but I have found them to be helpful. Orally is fine. Just a quick talk to make sure the meanings as well as the spellings are known. Rhesa
Thanks, guys. Is anyone else getting sick of talking about spelling?? :D
Mom2legomaniacs
Thanks, guys. Is anyone else getting sick of talking about spelling?? :D I am getting sick of my wavering on any given subject. Then when I get really comfortable with my choices, WHAM, something else catches my eye or makes me rethink. Very frustrating indeed! mcconnellboys
No, not as long as he also knows what the words mean and can use them in sentences, etc.

"Hello, my name is Rhesa and I'm a curriculum addict." At least since we moved, I haven't gotten as many homeschooling catalogs. They haven't found me yet!:)
