Quiver0f10
I am looking for a new atlas to use as we start year 3. What are you using? Thanks!
Shelly in the Country
Are you looking for a modern atlas or a historical atlas? I'm not to Year 3 yet, so I have no historical atlas recommendations. For a modern atlas, I like the National Geographic Visual Atlas of the World. I bought it in frustration last year when we couldn't do the mapping assignments without consulting the answer key :001_smile:.
Quiver0f10
Thanks for the link. I am actually looking for both LOL.
trisharog
Just food for thought...I too was looking for atlas to use with TOG. Someone made the suggestion to me to just let the kids look at my teacher sheet and discuss from there. You may be looking for more in depth, but that worked well for us. 1bassoon
Yeah, Jean - that's what we do. I think it misses some of the point, but - like you - I'm just willing to let that "slide" and focus on bigger things. HTH!
siloam
I am looking for a new atlas to use as we start year 3. What are you using? Thanks! The answer key? :D I have just basic cheap maps: one classroom, one historical, one US. They usually serve us pretty well (when the kids haven't lost them :glare: ), but we do have times when we need to revert to the answer key because they just aren't detailed enough. Marcia even said we could. ;) Heather
